Software Engineer

Based in Coventry, Alphacam, part of the Planit Holdings group, is a provider of world renowned CAD/CAM solutions to manufacturing companies in a wide range of industries across the globe.

We are seeking applications for the role of Software Engineer to join our growing development team working on an exciting range of projects across the spectrum of 2D and 3D CAD and CAM.

You will be able to contribute to specification and design of appropriate software solutions as a team member. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to manage and deliver on project objectives with the timescales required, which will necessitate working with others to develop plans and task lists of agreed areas of product development, report on status of projects with accurate information, identifying potential problems areas and any possible solutions at an early stage to resolve them.

Candidates should have a relevant degree in a numerate or computer science-based subject, a minimum of 2 years commercial programming experience in C/C++, preferably in a CAD/CAM environment, and able to demonstrate the ability to deliver projects in full and on time.
